No. 318

No. 318 / Lake District

I feel so fortunate to have been able to visit the UK last year. Really, I would love the chance to visit again and catch all the things I missed. Wherever I go I usually have a sketchbook and some pencils. Undoubtedly, I never seem to have a pencil sharpener with me when I need it. (I have a bunch of them, but never with me.) While perusing handkerchiefs and Beatrix Potter ware, I ran across this eraser/sharpener combo in a shop in the Lake District. I decided it would make a perfect travel companion and keep it in my backpack. The town is a picturesque little tourist spot where you a greeted by a field of country cows as you drive in. I can definitely see how the magic of Peter Rabbit could be inspired here.
