On my trip to the UK last year I saw a great many things. Mostly, it made me pretty grateful for how good I have it. I took hundreds of photos in cathedrals, castles, at the beach, and in the big cities. Always in the back of my mind I was taking photos for reference for paintings (November will be dedicated to this exploration). This handcrafted door handle was one item that caught my eye. It now makes me wonder what was on the other side, or where I was. I guess we can use our imaginations, eh?
