I have had the craziest, most awesome day!
First off, I received my greeting cards today to put up in my Etsy shop and on my website. I have to say . . . they look good. When I get them posted I will let you know!
Secondly, I was contacted by the RAW Natural Born Artists to participate in their upcoming show. It will be in Boise at 7 p.m. at Powerhouse Event Center on March 24, 2016. Tickets are $15 ($20 at the door). Can you say stoked? What a great way to spend my big 4-0, too! Happy birthday to me. :)

This is a sketchbook drawing that I am planning on making a more detailed, larger piece. My friend, Kristi, was a winner in my portrait contest. Since I have done a couple portraits of her in the past, I decided to get a little more illustrative and imaginative with this one. In the end I think she will have some wild additions to her drawing (think birds, a crown of ferns and maybe some flowers). I don't entirely have it sussed out, but promise to share when I do.
