I took a trip traveling around the area on my bike. I wanted to see what other wildlife I could capture in this town. (There is a lot of it here.) One of the treasures from my trip was a Great Blue Heron. As Kyle pointed out, they are a little prehistoric in appearance. This guy was none too happy when he saw me taking pictures on the river bank. He squawked and flew away, but I got some great shots of him in air. I am sure I will be back to get more photos soon.
