No. 213

Well, it's the month of Moleskine! This is a departure from my usual posting. I am giving my email list a break from my daily emails (just for a month), and I am playing around in my Moleskine. I am hoping it is a more organic, meaningful experience—a little more random. And I am hoping some good ideas come from it. Moleskine = idea factory.  At least all the drawing will be nicely contained in one spot instead of taking up space in the studio.

I will be posting here and on my instagram account (@paigeweberart) of my progress, using the tag #myMontanaMoleskine. I have a feeling I will have to get another book before the month is out.

What you'll see in today's post is my working out a an illustration for a beer name. I am going back to my graphic design roots.  I am a craftbeer fan and really love cool beer art. I also like the idea thinking up with my own designs for different breweries

. Today's drawing is dedicated to Bowser Brewing's (Great Falls, MT), "The Spring Cleaning Monster." I will probably bring this one into the computer. What do you think?

I am using Col-erase pencils by Prismacolor right now. They come in some fun colors besides the standard blue. I find them to be so easy to erase (good when watercolor-ing). I use them mainly for preliminary drawings.
