Giant Springs, a state park here, is home to a fish hatchery, beautiful waterfalls, the Roe River (once named the shortest river), and refuge to the occasional pelican. Yesterday I went down to see if any pelicans were visiting, and I was happy to see there were three hanging close to the shore.
They seem quite large when up close, with an heir of indifference. When I looked them up on Wikipedia I learned that in Christian symbolism they are often representative the caring self-sacrificing parent.
On another note, I have been trying my hand at time-lapse photography of me drawing. I only wish I was this quick at drawing!
