No. 163 / The Visitor

The Visitor took up residence on our fence; he was as large as my post office key! Some folks are not fans of moths, but when observed they have there own beauty. I don't think I have ever seen one so large, but it warranted a drawing. 

I have decided to adjust the rules of my 365 Days of Art project just a bit. I have been mulling this over for a while. The other day I was asked if any of my paintings would increase in size. It was my plan to use larger format when I moved to Montana. However, it takes several hours for me to complete one painting—it's easier and more time efficient to use a moderate size of 9 x 12 in. or smaller.  SO, I have decided that moving forward, all paintings will cost $99 plus tax and shipping for email list members, unless otherwise noted. If a painting hasn't sold it will be posted to my website at a different price point.
