When you think of Hawaiian cuisine things that come to mind are  poi, seafood, coconuts, or pineapples. I think of avocados. When I went to Maui five years ago I discovered I could get avocados everywhere. It beat out pineapples every time. I love them so much I devoted a painting to them. Can you tell I am getting excited for my trip?
