No. 88 / Captain Call

Today's painting is of Captain Call from Lonesome Dove. I used some new tools for this painting. Specifically, I used some Derwent Graphitint and Inktense pencils with my usual watercolors. I am not sure how well I like them together, but separately I like them both fine. They aren't quite as blendable as watercolors. And, they don't quite have the ability to pull color out, but they are nice on their own. I have more experiments coming . . . good and bad. :) Rock your Sunday!
