No 46 / Chai Tea

Roughly 20 years ago I worked as a barista at a little coffee shop called Mocha Notion. It was one of two drive-thru coffee houses in Boise at the time. (Can you EVEN imagine? Drive-thrus are everywhere now!) When Starbucks came to town my coworkers and I joked that they should be named "Char-bucks." Oh, youth.
Now, you can find one anywhere. Go overseas and you will find them in most cities. Honestly, I like their coffee. What they have done well is consistency and branding. The other day a good 'ol Chai Tea sounded good—I couldn't resist a little foam and frothiness.
