I took a trip to one of my favorite breweries last weekend. The Crooked Fence taproom—not to be confused with the restaurant—offers a homey atmosphere, a friendly barman (Bryce), and colorful regulars with their four-legged companions. It's small, intimate, and out of the way.
The last time I visited this location was a couple years ago and I really wanted to capture the piano that was housed there. Unfortunately, it has been moved elsewhere, but this location does not lack character. You will find an old record player. I spied a ZZ Top record (yeah!), barrel chairs, a store with cool schwag, and an old school Donkey Kong game.
The day I was there they bottling beer behind the building. Bryce even encouraged me to go and get some pics. Talk about cool! I am glad they kept the location open. It offers a lot of flavor and if you get the chance you should stop in. The bathroom alone is something to see. ;)
