No. 4

What I have learned so far . . .

1. Still Lifes are hard, at least for me. 
2. Portraits are easier. (Or more fun?)   
3. I have signed myself up for a crazy project. This isn’t 30 days; this is 365 days of art. Whoa. 
4. Not everything I paint will be good—maybe not even remotely. 
5. I’m sharing the bad paintings too because I can only paint so much, and a gal has to start somewhere. (Character building, right?)
6. This is just like being in college. Insert less sleep, more caffeine and I am going to LEARN lots (and I am so excited)!
7. If I conquer this project there isn’t anything I can’t do. 

What goals do you have this year? Are you going to save a little dough? Are you training to run a 10K? Are you working toward being more mindful on a daily basis? Whatever your hopes for this year are I wish you success.
