dreamily preoccupied

Well, I survived my first week back to school (Academy of Art). Hooray! I am taking a children's book writing/illustrating class (heavy on the illustrating). I have a lot to learn, but get very excited at the opportunity to check-in with my inner kid. The imagination is an awesome tool us adults don't use often enough.  Below is an excerpt from my first assignment. It was a five-frame story. I wrote about meeting my friend, Andy, for the first time.
